• Asheville Regional Airport (AVL)
     Situated on the Buncombe-Henderson County boundary, this full-service commercial airport is at exit 40 of Interstate 26 and is convenient to both counties.

• Hendersonville Airport (0A7)
     Situated southeast of downtown Hendersonville, about midway between Hendersonville and East Flat Rock, this privately owned and operated general aviation field has a 40 x 3075 foot asphalt runway. Phone: 693-1897.

• Interstates

  • I-26 connects Charleston SC and I-81 in eastern Tennessee. It is a primary thoroughfare for Polk, Henderson, Buncombe and Madison counties and has an interchange with I-40 in Asheville.
